Drug Possession — Russell H. Wilkins, 27, of Huntingdon was charged with possession of schedule IV, possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia on April 23 in Huntingdon.

According to the report by Sgt. Brad Allen, he responded to an address on Northwood Drive after being contacted by a Drug Task Force agent about a dispute. When Allen arrived at the scene, property owners told Allen that they found their son (Wilkins) in his vehicle in the Walmart parking lot with a spoon in his hand and apparently under the influence of some substance. They said they found a plastic bag containing a green leafy substance and a pill bottle labeled as Xanax containing 15 blue bar-shaped pills. After getting permission to search Wilkins’ vehicle, Allen found a glass pipe, a set of digital scales, empty jars of THC wax, and numerous pieces of burnt aluminum foil.

Traffic Stop Arrest — Lorrie Ann Garner, 46, of Huntingdon was arrested during an April 20 traffic stop.

According to the report by Officer Ethan Parham, he observed a black Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Garner traveling southbound on Highway 22 with a non-working license plate light. Parham activated his blue lights and siren in an attempt to conduct a traffic stop, but the vehicle continued for approximately two miles before pulling over. Parham observed that Garner’s eyes were glassy, her responses were slow, and she smelled of an alcoholic beverage. Garner said she had consumed two drinks about an hour before. Garner performed poorly on field sobriety tests, but she refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test. Garner also refused to sign citations for violation of implied consent and violation of light law. Parham noted that Garner has two prior convictions for DUI. Garner was placed under arrest and transported to Carroll County Jail.

Drug, Tag Violations — Jesse Thomas, 23, of Huntingdon was charged with possession of methamphetamine and improper display of tags during an April 15 traffic stop in Huntingdon.

Officer Joseph Hedge reported that he pulled over a vehicle driven by Thomas on West Main Street because a computer check showed the tag did not belong to the vehicle. After giving permission to search his vehicle, Thomas attempted to hide a bag containing approximately 1.7 grams of a substance that field-tested positive for meth in his gas tank.

Drug, License Violations — Dillion Wayne Smith, 28, of Atwood was charged with simple possession/casual exchange, driving on a suspended license, and improper lane change during an April 17 traffic stop in Huntingdon.

Officer Labe Ezell reported that he pulled over a black Ford pickup truck driven by Smith after observing the vehicle cross over the white shoulder line multiple times and run off the right side of the road, nearly striking a fire hydrant. A computer check showed that Smith’s license was suspended. While patting Smith down for weapons, Ezell discovered a zip-lock bag containing 19 hydrocodone pills without a prescription.
